I do from time to time look into those accidental deaths to see if I can unveil the mystery around such an event, so I will share with you my insights and in a few weeks we will find out the truth about her untimely departure.

There is no doubt that a mixture of prescription drugs and alcohol is at play here; I believe the singer took several medications in the course of the day to ease her anxiety and help her cope with her day and pending gala. Unfortunately the mixture did not go well with her body. I fear that her fatal decision to get that hot bath was her demise, the steam increasing the blood pressure and triggering her to ‘pass out’ to never come back.

I believe Miss Houston was already a bit “out of sync” when she got in, her body was already showing signs of distress due to the chemicals and the alcohol in her body – I don’t see that she was drunk. I think the final cause of death is either an organ failure or a type of ‘stroke’. I am not a doctor obviously but I doubt it is her heart so it could be another organ that is responsible.

The singer fell into a dream like state (passed out) and left her body (death/organ failure) without pain or struggle, which then went under water… Therefore there should be little water in her lungs. Her death took place right after a few people (family or friends) left the hotel room, my estimate within less than half hour. Her soul was welcomed by her father first but then she went to seek her daughter for comfort and closure. I expect the singer to stay close to her girl for as long as she needs to…

Based on what I saw, I can’t stop wondering…Whitney’s death…It could have been indeed her time to leave. Her father waiting to welcome her, her seamless transition, a few hours before her mentor’s reception, her death happening right after her people leave when they were with her all that time. Too many coincidences. I don’t believe in coincidence!

As of Feb 22, 2012 we haven’t got the results yet; but news have surfaced about the preliminaries on her toxicology tests. If it was confirmed, my insights would be found accurate onto what happened.

Finally on March 22nd, 2012 the autopsy came back as reported below:

Between us, they really do not know what happened except that she had a combination of drugs (legal) and cocaine in her blood as well as arteries clogged by years of cocaine use. we will know in a couple of weeks how much cocaine her body had exactly. Meanwhile I will quote this paragraph from the article I posted the link on above:

“Houston had battled drug addiction for years, and the coroner’s office found traces of several drugs — including marijuana, the anti-anxiety medication Xanax, the muscle relaxant Flexeril as well as Benadryl — in her system. But the coroner’s office concluded that those drugs did not contribute to her death.

Cocaine did play a role, though officials would not say how much of the drug was in her system. Craig Harvey, the coroner’s operations chief, said the toxicology findings “suggested chronic usage.”

“She could have had a heart attack,” rendering her unconscious, and then become submerged in the filled tub, said Ed Winter, the coroner’s deputy chief for operations.

A law enforcement source said that no cocaine was found in Houston’s room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel but that bottles of various medications were recovered. The autopsy found that the singer suffered from a pre-existing condition known as atherosclerotic heart disease.”

The arteries’ condition did not help the singer that evening but I stand my ground based on what she showed me that the combination of drugs and the steam of that hot bath triggered an organ failure (heart attack is suggested by the coroner’s office) then she left her body. The respiratory system is automatic for a few minutes, enough to absorb water into the lungs but as far as I am concerned she was gone already… I let you decide for yourself.

What I would say is that political shifts will continue to be the instrument for chaos, death and violence. I see changes in head of states, abroad mainly. Some will be removed via elections or by popular action, others will resign even. Not all of them are bad leaders, I see a change for one who enjoyed popular support. The powerful may be subject to reversal of fortune once thought unlikely. Africa and the Middle East are the most active areas for 2012…But Europe will see some heads rolling!

Consequently, sometimes next year, Europe will set up a new global set of rules that will reset the continent forward…Stay tuned next year as we will still be here despite what the Mayans Calendar say.

Personally I am looking forward to the next run in 2016 when we will have more interesting candidates with more creative ideas and compelling arguments that what we are about to witness in the weeks before November. Hopefully I am right about 2016 but this coming election is a no brainer as far as the result is concerned….

This reversal seems to be coming from news (possibly Europe) that may take Wall Street into a spiral down (psychological reaction) and the effect of that will be carried on to the following year…Not a good ending that is for sure. Frankly the entire year feels like a mixed bag, an unstable neurotic economy with a lot of issues…Nothing is for sure so keep a close look onto your investments.

By Summer 2012 some good news however will spark hopes even though it may be influenced by investors and more robust sales in very specific locations in the country. Caution should be the norm when buying since there is no real recovery at sight this year.

I expect more problems with the banking and financial sectors regarding past actions in the mortgage industry and a lack of clear practical strategies to get over the issue. So we are not out of the woods yet! Some scandals would not surprise me either…

If you are going to buy, buy cheap, cash or with a small mortgage you can easily pay off; if not, think twice. It is not a time for grandeur or luxury taste unless you are a wealthy individual.

My first post for 2011 is published on May 3rd 2011! 4 months late! What happened? I intend to publish my prophecies each year on December, before the new year but apparently for 2011, it was not in the cards so to speak!

The year has been so busy professionally that this blog was put on the back burner regretfully. And of course I missed the major events that rock our world such as the meltdown and the tsunami in Japan, the fateful demise of Bin Laden and the popular revolutions taking place in North Africa and the Middle East.

So my prophecies for the rest of the year are going to feel dull and without sparkles in contrast to those latest developments; I feel cheated because I would have love to be able to pinpoint some of them and take the credit…Again it was not meant to be.

As usual, because my audience is interested in the U.S. economy for various reasons, I will tackle this very important subject. But as far as I can tell, 2011 is going to be a lot more quiet than its first 4 months!

So let’s get started.

U.S. ECONOMY FROM MAY TO DECEMBER 2011

The debt ceiling will be raised to avoid a major meltdown but expect the debate to be heated to say the least. I don’t see the Government making any major changes in its direction which let me to fear we may pay the price of that lack of reform down the road…

The Real Estate market is uneven in its projection: in some areas the bottom has been reached and signs of better days are clearly shown; that trend will continue during the rest of the year. However in other geographic areas, I foresee a slight deep that will drive the prices even lower before the year ends. Once this down takes place, then we will have reached the bottom of the pan. At that point, I believe we will start to see a positive change but that will be in 2012.

The Job market won’t pick up significantly until October and I think the numbers for the last 3 months of the year will look good and reassuring for a lot of Americans. An acceleration of job creations will take place by that time.

The Stock Market, Wall Street  is still unreliable despite the recent enthusiasm and that means we are still dancing the two-step forward, one step backward… Watch out and be wise!  By mid-summer we will enter a new phase that will be marked by more stability and steady growth, which will be reflected in the market. Again I think the last 3 months of the year could be very good for investors.

The U.S. Dollar will experience some serious issues shortly. Now I don’t know if the currency will be readjusted or that it will go through a major storm but June and July aren’t fun for our green symbol. Once we pass the summer, the dollar will then go steady and get even stronger by the end of the year.

MAJOR DISASTERS IN THE WORLD (MAY TO DECEMBER)

The big events are behind us at this point in time. Happily I can write that I don’t expect major catastrophes to take place til we end the year. Outside of more turmoil with regimes that may cut ties with the U.S. or countries in the middle of revolutionary changes, we can rest assured that nothing huge will fall from the sky!

The weather is changing and with it, tornadoes get bigger and more devastating in their paths! The recent fatalities in the U.S. corridor remind us that we have to expect more of those occurrences. I am sure I will have a lot to say about those alterations in our Earth conditions for 2012. Please remind me not to be late this time!

Why? because I feel that there are some major events cooking right now that will come to the surface next year… They are already in the making but underneath or hidden. Once it is apparent, when we look back, we will understand why I was saying it.

So as you can read, the rest of the year is not as dramatic as we started it. It does not mean that the events that took place already are concluded. They are still unfolding and I expect the Middle East and North Africa to be the center of attention for the remaining months.

I am looking forward to unveil 2012 to be honest with you. From a pure predictive perspective, I expect it to be very active. However as I have told so many people, I expect the 2012 Mayan showdown to be another Y2K and nothing more. But with an alignment of several planets and its effects on our blue planet, natural disasters and larger than life phenomena are to be expected. So tune in a few months when I unveil the year with you!

The Stock market will continue to gain while it remains unstable (loss/gain) until we pass the summer (two steps forward, one step backward). Some news during the spring 2010 about some financial personalities involved in scandals will create concerns again and shake up the public trust regarding financial institutions, big corporate power and the government ability to police unethical practices (I feel we may hear about the automobile industry again!). Nevertheless the stock market seems to experience a fast and positive turn around in the course of 2010 which will reassure a lot of investors and the public in general.

New economical data will point to a slow but clearer recovery during the first part of the year however the job data won’t be looking much better than where we are now. Stopping job losses won’t make the general people more optimistic. It is going to take October 2010 to see a change of mood, a distinct sense that the U.S. economy is indeed rebouncing with a brighter 2011 to make everyone spend again and get the machine going.

THE U.S. REAL ESTATE MARKET FOR 2010.

Home sales will increase significantly in 2010 but those transactions will  show new emerging, future hot R.E. markets that will create a new properous momentum, however different to the past R.E boom. Since not all markets will be affected in the positive, I need to be specific as this may be great opportunities for those of you who want to invest:

1. smaller houses, condos and townhomes will be the next hot market particularly if they are located in cute neighborhood served by small boutique shops and services and if they are reasonably priced. Think nice downtowns, easy access, mass transportation and mixed used areas. Expensive lifestyle metropolis may not benefit from this renewal if they don’t offer affordable living solutions! Cheaper states that have quaint cities and innovative lifestyle solutions will benefit the most…
2. larger houses, isolated properties, under-served locations will be left out of that nice upswing.
3. large commercial properties in general will not benefit from the positive turn.
4. mixed used commercial lots and well positioned commercial properties will become sought-after investments.

This is not just a short term trend. This will be the beginning of several years of expansion and only in some parts of the country, in cities that provide the ideal environment to attract those buyers (think a quaint and well thought city planning). People will buy cheaper, smaller and more convenient (walking, biking distance).

Note for R.E. professionals: I will strongly suggest that you position yourself to take advantage of this new wave of prosperity and particularly if you are right now focusing on the markets that I believe will stay on the flat line. You do not want to be left out!

For anyone: be prepared to hold on to your property for another 6 to 8 years before making a profitable sale! If you are going to invest in R.E., think about getting into mixed used market and pay attention to the location (how it looks and the services/stores). Don’t buy big (unless you have 10 kids!) and don’t buy a large estate in the country (unless you can deal with the fact that you won’t be selling it easily afterward!).

Predicting a new tsunami in the Thailand region is not a great accomplishment due to the area’s tendancy for attracting those devastations. Same is true for earthquakes in California (it rocks every day in the entertainment capital!) unless it is involving Los Angeles in a big way (see my earthquakes prediction for this area)!

So the only thing I am going to write in this chapter of world desasters for 2010 is what I believe will define that particular year, and in this case it will be one major health desaster:

I foresee a major situation (pandemic or epidemic of devastating consequences, leading to great numbers of deaths) by the end of spring or early summer in a familiar region of the world (possible up and coming country -somewhere in China or South America?) that will lead to quarantine and isolation (no travel by air or else) until the situation is under control. We may hear and see some shocking images on the news media and ‘desperation’ will be the key word.  Help will be late to arrive, supplies won’t be enough etc…I hope I am wrong…

Since we have been having more stress here in California about earthquakes, I am posting the original prophecy (inserted in 2009 prophecies) in 2010 (as a reminder) as this is the only prophecy meant to happen in a couple of years or so.
